“The Yellow Tale” made it to the Czech Liberec International Sports Film Festival
Art and Experience: The documentary ” The Yellow Tale ” directed and produced by Mohammad Abedi was selected to participate in the competition section of the Liberec Czech International Sports Film Festival.
According to the film’s public relations and media consultant, this festival is one of the most prestigious and oldest sports film festivals in the world, which is in its 24th year and films will be screened and be judged from September 30 to October 10.
This is the second appearance of “The Yellow Tale” in the international festivals. In 73 minutes, director and producer Mohammad Abedi narrates the life and affection of the fans of a German team called Borussia Dortmund, Germany, who live their daily lives by following events, successes, failures and destinies. The games of this team are tied.
The story is about some young Iranians who are fans of the Borussia Dortmund football team in Germany and speak of their love for their beloved team, regardless of any fear of being judged. Among them are people who are fanatically willing to go through their lives but see the success of their beloved team. During the team’s games, they gather together and cheer for Borussia Dortmund’s German youth team from miles away.
The film was also screened at the HISFF International Sports Film Festival in the United States from June 3 to 6, 2021.
