Yadollah Najafi, the Sound Engineer of Cinema Passed Away
Art and Experience: Yadollah Najafi, the experienced sound engineer of Iran cinema passed away due to heart disease.
Najafi was born in 1334 in Babolsar and graduated from Cinema and Television School in sound engineering field. He started wirking for the TV since 1355 and entered cinema from 1369 with the movie “For Everything” directed by Rajab Mohammadin. He collaborated on many movies, including Majid Majidi’s “Muhammad (S), the Messenger of God”, Niki Karimi’s “Night Shift”, Ahmadreza Darvish’s “Hussein, Who Said No” and Hamidreza Qotbi’s “Rending a Garment”.
Najafi was the sound engineer for newest work of Asghar Farhadi “The Salesman” which is filming these days. From the 34th Fajr Film Festival works he had “A Fully Normal Citizen” and “Being Born.”
