Vancouver program to spotlight Parviz Parastui films
Art and Experience: A program in Vancouver to put the spotlight on 61-year-old actor Parviz Parastui by reviewing some of his films has been planned, the organizers announced.
“The Glass Agency” and “The Red Ribbon”, both by Ebrahim Hatamikia, will be screened at the program, which will take place at Bosa Centre, Vancity Theatre and Centennial Theatre.
In addition, director Mohammadreza Honarmand’s comedies “The Changed Man” and “Mummy 3” have also been selected for the event.
Majid Majidi’s drama “The Willow Tree” and Kamal Tabrizi’s comedy “Lizard” will also be reviewed at the festival, which will be held from September 14 to 17.
The program has been organized by several Iranian institutes and a number of Iranian expatriates in the Canadian city.
