Art and ExperienceIranian animation ‘Release from Heaven’ has grabbed award at the Accolade Global Film Competition.

Directed by Ali Nouri Oskui, the animation won the best film award at the 14th edition of the American event.

Set in a war torn country, the animation narrates the story of a female writer and teacher, Sareh, who has to accompany two of her students on a life changing journey to find their fathers.

‘Release from Heaven’ is a mixture of fantasy and reality in which the teacher tries to tell stories for her students to encourage them, but she finds out that the heroes of her stories are real.

The Accolade Global Film Competition is unique in the industry. Attracting both powerhouse companies and talented new filmmakers is an exceptional, truly international awards competition, and not a traditional film festival – which allows filmmakers from around the world to enter their films in this prestigious competition.
