‘The Servant’ awarded at London festival
Art and Experience: Iranian animation ‘The Servant’, directed by Farnoush Abedi, won the best short animation award for February at London Independent Film Festival.
The animation tells the familiar story of the master and subordinate; a giant cockroach serves to man and after a while, it gets tired of his servitude and disrupts the rules of the game.
The award of London Independent Film Festival is presented each month to the best animations in the world.
The Servant also won the Best Animation award at the 33rd Tehran International Short Film Festival held on November 8-14, 2016 in Tehran.
London Independent Film Festival (LIFF) which is Europe’s leading film festival dedicated to low (under $150,000) and no-budget filmmaking, aims to introduce the best directors, writers, animators and actors.
