One notable feature of this year’s festival is the screening of short films before the feature films in a bid to introduce the audience to Iranian short film cinema.
The festival will also screen the documentary ’76 Minutes and 15 Seconds With Abbas Kiarostami’, compiled by photographer Seifollah Samadian, which offers a moving and intimate portrait of the late director.
London Iranian Film Festival is the only festival in the UK that is dedicated to Iranian independent cinema, with this year’s event taking place from the 28th of October to the 2nd of November.
