Art and Experience:  Iranian short ‘The Role’ directed by Farnoosh Samadi has been accepted into the competition program of 16th Tirana International Film Festival in Albania.

Directed by Farnoosh Samadi and co-written with Ali Asgari, ‘The Role’, an Iran-Italy co-production, will have its international premiere at the 16th Tirana International Film Festival in Albania.

The story evolves around a woman who accompanies her husband to an audition. Something happens there which forces her to make an important decision.

The 16th Tirana International Film Festival in Albania is slated for 2-9 November 2018. Recipients of the Tirana International Film Festival Best Short Film will be eligible for consideration in the Animated Short Film/Live Action Short Film category of the Academy Award.

Another Iranian short ‘Like a Good Kid’ directed by Arian Vazir Daftari will also take part at the festival.
