Art & Experience: Shawkat Amin Korki was announced as the president of Youth, Animation and Documentary International Juries in the 9th Asia Pacific Screen Awards known as Asian Oscars.

Amin Korki won UNESCO award for promotion and preservation of cultural diversity because of “Memories On Stone” in the 8th Asia Pacific Screen Awards.

This artist was announced as the president of Youth, Animation and Documentary International Juries in the 9th Asia Pacific Screen Awards known as Asian Oscars and along with Yuka Sakano art and international relations manager of creditable worldwide festivals like Canne, Berlin, Vennis, Lokarno, Busan, Montral, and Sam Ho, writer, critic and Hong Kong university professor will choose between the 15  final works of this section in Asia Pacific Screen Awards. The awards of Asia Pacific Screen will given to best works from Australia government by the support UNESCO and FIAPF-International Federation of Film Producers Associations. One of the aims of this festival is acclaim film making in the Asia Pacific region that best reflects its culture, origin and cinematic excellence and Promote this outstanding work in film to a global audience in order to broaden the market appeal of such works.

The 9th Asia Pacific Screen Awards ceremony will be held in Brisbane, Australia’s New World City, in the historic and iconic Brisbane City Hall on Thursday 26 November.
