Art and Experience: A lineup of Iranian films are currently on screen in the various sections of the 22 MedFilm Festival, which opened in Rome on Friday.

Behnam Behzadi’s “Inversion”, Mahmud Rahmani’s “Passengers” and Fereshteh Parnian’s “Aram” are among the films selected for the official competition of the festival, which will run until November 12.

This year’s festival also has a section named “Focus Iran”, which is screening eight Iranian short and feature movies.

“Scissors” by Karim Lakzadeh, “Death of the Fish” by Ruhollah Hejazi, “Silent” by Puya Nabi” and “Mohagh” by Ali Derakhshandeh will be shown in this section.

The section also showcases “The Key” by Mohsen Khanjahani, “Life+1 Day”” by Saeid Rustai, “A House on 41st Street” by Hamidreza Qorbani and “Daughter” by Reza Mirkarimi.
