Art and Experience: Japanese  cinema of the 1950s will be reviewed in a program that is scheduled to begin at the cinematheque of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art on Sunday evening.

Fifteen movies are scheduled to shown during the program, which will start with screening “Repast” (“Meshi”), a 1951 drama by Mikio Naruse.

The movie is about Michiyo who lives in the small town of Osaka and is not happy with her marriage, since all she does is cook and clean for her husband.
