Tehran museum to review Clint Eastwood’s “Bird”
Art and Experience: The Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art will screen “Bird”, a 1988 American biographical film directed by Clint Eastwood, on Wednesday.
The screenplay was written by Joel Oliansky. The film is a tribute to the life and music of jazz saxophonist Charlie “Bird” Parker. It is constructed as a montage of scenes from Parker’s life, from his childhood in Kansas City, through his early death at the age of 34.
The program is part of the screening sessions of the cinematheque of the museum.
