Art and Experience: The choice of Documentary Channel “Ganjineh” program for the twentieth episode of the series is the documentary “The Lost Requiem” by Khosrow Sinai.

Documentary television network IRIB in collaboration with the Center archives shows the documentaries of Iran’s top filmmakers from 40, 50 and 60 decades within the framework of the “Ganjineh” program. Some of the documentaries are broadcast for the first time on television and many have been restored for the first time.
This week the documentary “The Lost Requiem” by Khosrow Sinai is screened. A documentary that the story of its production and creation is like the topic of its story and has been full of ups and downs. In 1349, the issue of migration of Poles to Iran during World War II, attract the attention of Khosrow Sinai and a year later he began making the film and video production, with persecutions and many adventures and it took 12 years till 62.
“The Lost Requiem” was screened on October 13, 2007 for the first time in Poland’s University of Human Sciences and the Sinai was appreciated. A year after the September 21, 2008, at the closing ceremony of Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczynski was awarded to Sinai by the late president of the country. The badge of honor was awarded to Sinai for the great efforts to introduce the history of the Polish nation.
Collection of “Ganjineh” will broadcast on Wednesday 27 February at 9 PM  on the documentary channel. Repeat of this episode will broadcast on Thursday 28 February at 3 PM and Friday 29 February at 9 AM.
