Rosa Bosch, well-known Spanish producer of ‘The Buena Vista Social Club’ is to hold workshop at the 37th Fajr International Film Festival.

The workshop, along with many other workshops to be held during Fajr screening event, will reportedly put a technical perspective on cinematic co-productions.

Barcelona-born Rosa Bosch began her career as a curator of Latin American films at the American Film Institute (AFI) before taking on the role of Deputy Director of the London Film Festival/ National Film Theatre where she remained for 10 years.

Rosa is a member of the European Film Academy and BAFTA. She is known for a wide variety of Latin American cinema programming and works in international film production and distribution.

In recent years, the Spanish producer has appeared as one of the leading figures in the field of joint production holding workshops at festivals and film venues around the world.

Established in 1982, the Fajr International Film Festival celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the 37th edition of Fajr International Film Festival will take place in Tehran from April 18 to 26, 2019.
