Art and Experience: Iranian director Yaser Talebi’s “Road to Perdition” won the best feature film award at the winter edition of the Best Independent International Film Festival, which was held in Karlsruhe, Germany from December 16 to 23.

“Road to Perdition” is about two mechanics who get involved in an accident, which gives them an opportunity to possess half a million dollars. They are on the trail, which leads to some difficult decision-making for them, while not knowing that the owner of the money has already made his decision.

“Discord of the Hyenas” by Alexander Peskador from the U.S. received the best director award while “Curanderismo” by Sam W. McFadden from England won the best documentary award of the festival.
