“Risk of Acid Rain” in the 17th Mumbai Film Festival in India
Art & Experience: “Risk of Acid Rain” got positive feedback from Indians.
“Risk of Acid Rain” which was screened in Mumbai Film Festival is the first movie directed by Behtash Sanaeiha and Indians eagerly appreciated the movie.
This movie was screened in two main cinema halls of Mumbai, Finix and PVR and so many people stayed in line for watching the movie. According to the official site of this festival, due to the overcrowd a lot of people didn’t get the chance to go into the cinema hall. So many good feed-backs and critics were given and written in social media and Indian magazines after the movie screening and so many of the critics and audiences named the movie as the discovery of the third and forth day of the festival. This movie will also have another screening in the last day of festival.
Mumbai Film Festival is the most important film festival in India and Mumbai city is the cinema center which mostly called Bollywood. “Risk of Acid Rain” tells the story of Manoochehr who is sixty and retired from tobacco office but he goes to the office every day since he doesn’t have anything else to do. His mother wished to see his marriage until her last day alive while Manoochehr didn’t even have any friends other than Khosro. This movie has recently achieved bright talent award from critics and writers association ceremony and also got Neptec award of Australia and best screenplay of the 33th Fajr Film Festival. This movie will be screened in Art & Experience cinema group from 9 November.
