‘Retouch’ to be screened at Adelaide filmfest
Art and Experience: Iranian short film ‘Retouch’ is scheduled to be screened at Adelaide Film Festival in Australia.
Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, the film will be screened at the competition section of the Australian event.
Produced by the Iranian Young Cinema Society, ‘Retouch’ is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.
The film has so far participated in many international film festivals, winning many awards and nominations.
It has previously won Best Short Film Awards at the Krakow International Film Festival, the Palm Springs International Film Festival, and the Tribeca Film Festival, all in the US.
Established in 2003, Adelaide Film Festival (ADL Film Fest) is an eleven-day celebration and exploration of Australian and international screen culture with a unique program of screenings, forums and special events.
