Norwegian artist Eirik Jarl Trondsen to hold workshop in Tehran
Art and Experience: The Norwegian artist and entrepreneur Eirik Jarl Trondsen will hold a two-day workshop on Affirmative Art opening at Tehran’s Hepta Gallery on Saturday.
Trondsen founded Affirmative Art in Africa in 2012 where he has been living and working with non-government organizations for 15 years.
Trondsen and his team realized that art could be a powerful tool for identifying goals and visions in life, that is, if people visually define their purpose in life, they bring it closer to reality.
In his workshop, Trondsen asks the participants to draw their dreams and create action steps to empower their dreams. It helps to share their dreams with other people, and together encourage each other to achieve their goals.
Trondsen found out that Affirmative Art could be a powerful tool for development, as art is a universal language that does not require literacy, and is inexpensive and available to all.
The gallery is located at 3 Nikushahr Dead End, Iranshahr St., Karim Khan Ave.
