Art and Experience: “Mr. Violet”, a three-minute animated movie from Iran, has won the Most Innovative Honorable Mention of the junior jury at the Reel 2 Real International Film Festival for Youth.

The movie co-directed by Jalali-Yekta and Mohammad-Hojjat Azampur received the honorable mention at beginning of the eight-day festival on Friday.

The animation is about Mr. Violet, who lives in a mug in a busy cafe. His life is boring and full of lonely feelings, but the dull routine gets stirred up when life takes a turn for the romantic.

The movie is also competing in the TIFF Kids International Film Festival, which is currently underway in Toronto.
