Synopsis

Mehrdad Ghaffarzadeh (1966, Tehran) He started his career in 1981 with writing short stories. When he was a teenager he participated at the Iran-Iraq war as a volunteer. Later on he wrote literary and film criticism for Iranian newspapers, for radio and TV. Made 6 TV series. Then he started to make documentaries inside Iran and in other countries. In 2011 Ghaffarzadeh made his first feature film «The Receiver», which was screened at the Fajr Film Festival and won several Simourghs awards (Best Picture, Best Script and Best Male Leading Role).

In the not so faraway days, it was not easy to confront opinion and thoughts and idea. These days, the attitude of thoughts occurs instantaneously and second to second, but today, due to the cyberspace of waking up in the morning, you encounter different kinds of religious, social, political and cultural beliefs of people from different classes and degrees, other thoughts remain only in the minds of others. The ideas doesn’t only stay in the mind anymore. Days and moments are overflowing with thought and imagination. In the meantime, the only thoughts and ideas stays which have divine, Godly and heavenly nature. Because God is absolute and immortal and divine thinking is not enclosed in any way. .
