Synopsis

The doll shop in the park tells the story of the things he did to his cinematic friend to the young girl. The young girl, who is the actress of a film making project at the other side of the park, finally finds out the identity of the doll selling man.

Saeid Ebrahimifar (born in Tehran 4 , 3 , 1956) is an internationally, critically acclaimed Iranian film director and screenwriter. Among many other awards, he has received a Golden Tulip price in Istanbul international Film Festival for his movie Pomegranate and Cane (1989) (Nar-o-nay). He was nominated for Best Director Award in Chicago International Film Festival for Pomegranate and Cane. Saeid Ebrahimifar won Fajr Film Festival Jury Award and Intercultural dialogue price in Manheim International film festival for his film Pomegranate and Cane. Pomegranate and Cane has been shown in more than 70 film festivals around the world. He won Osion’s cinefan film festival in New Delhi (2006) for his film Lonesome Trees. Saeid Ebrahimifar did 18 Television films between year 2005 to 2010, Two TV Series; Memories of Past New Years’ Eve (1998) and Greeting (2011 ).
