Synopsis
Friction is a narrative documentary of the dialectic of the cinema and people in Iran from the very beginning of the history of cinema in Iran. A lot of prominent cineasts like Ali Moalem, Saeid Matlabi, and Nasser Malek Motiei have a part in this documentary. This is the first film in Iranian Cinema challenging the analytical history of cinema in Iran.

Truthfulness and being truth center is my purpose in documenting. “Friction” is the result of a three years effort about how long the effects of cinema in Iran have been, and has led to the establishment of which behaviors in the people.
