Katayoun Parmar born in Bandar Abbas, and a student of Cinema Studies, field of directing at the Cinema and Theater Arts at the University of Art. She has also graduated from the Tehran Young Cinema Association and tought by Shahram Mokri. This director has two short films “Keshand” and “Barcelona” in her works.

Museum Cinema

“Keshand” is my first film-making experience, and because I’ve made it at a young age, it’s an inexhaustible experience for me. More because the fact that cinematic category was dull and inaudible for me before, but with the first film I was able to break away from the abstract vision that I had before in the cinema, and to get a little understanding of myself and filmmaking. “Keshand” is a pretty straightforward narrative. I deliberately followed such a narrative on the first film because I could give a newer text in directing. In general, I can say that the “Keshand” was the result of a curiosity and a strange feeling that I always have had and have about cinema.
