Iranian films offered at market of French festival
Art and Experience: A collection of short films from Iranian directors has been offered at the market of the 39th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
The collection, which contains 94 shorts films, documentaries and animations, is available at the Short Film Market running from February 4 to 10, the organizes have announced on the website.
“A Basket of Eggs” (Maryam Dusti), “A Window into Life” (Dorri Rezai), “30 Frames in Memory of Abbas Kiarostami” (Negar Eskandarfar), “It Is Night Here” (Peyman Jamshidi), “Kids of Tehran” (Daniel Asadi Faezi) and “Online Shopping” (Qasideh Golmakani) are some of the films offered at the market.
In addition, Mostafa Gandomkar’s “Alan” is an entry to the international section of the festival running from February 3 to 11, 2017. The film is about a Kurdish man in Syria who has lost his home and family in the ISIS attacks.
