Art and Experience: Iranian director Javad Darai’s short film “I Don’t like Her” won the Golden Fox for the best free speech film at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival in India, the organizers announced on Monday.

The film, which is about a young girl who has problems with her identity, competed with “Ballad for Syria” by Eda Elif Tibet from Turkey and “The Cursed Queens” by Rashmi Jeta from India in this category.

Iranian films “Catfish” by Surena Bayramlu and “Flatland”, co-directed by Alireza Keymanesh and Amir Pusti, were also among the nominees in different sections of the festival.
