Art and Experience: Iranian short film ‘Hasti’ directed by Kamal Parnak will be screened in the 21st Latvian 2annas Film Festival, September 27- October 2.

The most important event in Baltic Sea area for short film, the festival hosts the competition of 7 short films. ‘Hasti’ represents Iran and relates the confrontation of life and death. It is the story of a little girl whose mother’s death becomes the starting point of an inner journey, which leads her to perceive the death concept.

The acclaimed short film has been screened in many international events including the competition section of the 44th edition of Huesca International Film Festival in Spain, Festival Huesca is one of the oldest short film festivals in Spain. It also participated in the 17th edition of Italian Lucania Film Festival, which was film’s second international appearance.

It was a competitor in 2016 edition of Italian Cisterna Film Festival to be held August 19-21, to compete with other 20 short films, and in August, in Thessaloniki, Greece, along with a presence in competition section of Sose Intl. Film Festival in Armenia.
