Art and Experience: Anyone looking for fantastic beasts later this year will have a new way to find them: Google’s Daydream View VR headset controller, which the company is releasing in November. Priced at $79, the controller will allow viewers watching the new “Harry Potter” spinoff “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” to use it as a wand.

“Our goal is to build a Google for each person,” says CEO Sundar Pichai of the Daydream View and other new projects the company is working on. “It will continuously get better as we make progress with machine learning and [artificial intelligence].”

Eddie Redmayne stars in “Fantastic Beasts,” which takes place in the United States decades before the original “Harry Potter” series. David Yates — who directed the final four films in that franchise — is helming the film, which will be released on November 18.
