Exhibition displaying unseen images of “Standing in the Dust”
Art and Experience: A photo collection of scenes not seen previously from the acclaimed Iranian movie “Standing in the Dust” are on display in an exhibition at the Iranian Artists Forum.
The photographer of the collection, Sahab Zaibaf, director Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian, producer Habib Vaalinejad and a number of Iranian artists attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition on Friday.
“Standing in the Dust” tells the life story of Ahmad Motevasselian, an IRGC commander who was kidnapped by the Zionist regime in 1982 in Lebanon.
The film won the Crystal Simorgh for best film at the 34th Fajr Film Festival, Iran’s most prestigious event in the motion picture industry.
The exhibit runs until June 22 at Paiz Gallery of the forum, which is located on Musavi St. off Taleqani Ave.
