Art and ExperienceIran’s short film ‘Elegy’ by Yousef Kargar will be screened at Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival.

Elegy, produced by the Urmia office of Iranian Youth Cinema Society, narrates the story of an old man who has been waiting for the return of his missing son for 25 years.

The film, one of the most successful shorts of Iranian cinema, has so far grabbed tens of awards and titles at several international film festivals.

The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival (MNFF) which is all about the work of first and second time filmmakers, will be held on August 25-28.
