Art and Experience: A Tribute will be held to film director Khosro Masoumi at the Fifth Iran International Green Film Festival.
At the opening ceremony, the IIGFF will pay tribute to the Iranian Director Khosro Masoumi, who has used the environment as the subject for many of his works, according to the IIGFF public relations office.
Masoumi’s three feature films called “Tradition of Killing Lovers” (2004), “Somewhere Far Away” (2006), “Wind Blows on the Meadow” (2008) on the issue of logging and environmental protection are scheduled for special viewings at the film festival.
Also in his artistic career, Mr. Masoumi has a TV production on environmental Issues called “Out of Heaven”
International Green Film Festival will commence on May 13th and run till May 20th in Tehran (Felestin cinema and Saba Art and Cultural Center) and across the country simultaneously.
