Closure of cinema halls in mourning days
Art and Experience: Art and Experience cinema halls will be closed like other country’s cinemas in this weekend due to mourning days. The speaker of screening guild council announced the closure of all cinema halls and theaters during mourning days of Safar from the Wednesday evening of 9 December and Thursday 10 December and Saturday 21 December.
“The cinema halls of the country will be closed since 5 PM Wednesday 9 December and the only movies which are on screen are “Muhammad” by Majid Majidi and the animation of “Rome Princess” which is on screen nowadays.”Gholamreza Faraji, the speaker of screening guild council said after mentioning the closure of all cinema halls and theaters in Safar month.
“All the cinema halls around the country is closed on Thursday due the death day of prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hassan ibn Ali Al-Mujtaba (as) and they will be open on Friday 11 December.” Faraji added.
The speaker of screening guild council emphasized in the end that all the cinema halls will be closed on Saturday 12 December due to the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Reza (as). Art and Experience cinema schedule will go back to normal from Sunday 13 December.
