“Bitter Dream” was well-received by audiences
Art and Experience: “Bitter Dream” by Mohsen Amiryousefi which started its screening last week (on 23 November) in Art and Experience group was well-received in this group’s cinema halls and in the week leaded to 1st December was the bestseller movie in this group.
According to public relations of Art and Experience, in all of the “Bitter Dream” screening’s hours more than 60 percent of the seats were sold. “Bitter Dream” is the first feather movie of Mohsen Amiryousefi which was produced in 2003 but it didn’t got the chance to be on screen.“Bitter Dream” which is screening after 12 years is about forty years, Esfandiar who has been unconcernedly preparing corpses for the journey to their final resting place. One day, whilst preparing a burial service, he’s taken ill. He faces the matter of his own death. This movie wasnt accepted in the Fajr Film Festival of 1382 and the first international presence was in two weeks with directors of Canne Festival of 2004 and after screening in this section got a lot of positive feedback and reviews from the critics of Screen, Puzitio,Cahiers du cinéma, Lomond and Figaro Magazines.
