The film is a story of love and memories of four people. The first of them – a young Ukrainian musician Anatoly (actor Dmitry Linartovych, Ukraine), who voluntarily went to war, to take part in the ATO and defend his homeland. After the injury he came to Western Ukraine, where he found new friends and fell in love with a young Iraqi refugee girl Ima (actress Nazanin Ahmadi Shahpurabadi, Iran). But she was also loved by his new friend Alexander (actor Alexander Ihnatusha, Ukraine), the elder man, a local sculptor who endured personal tragedy and was trying to start a new life. Another difficult fate of the fourth heroine of the film – sister of the dead wife of Alexandre (Yurikova Tatyana, Ukraine). She has loved this man all her life and supportd him in grief and joy, and for her love she is not only ready to act decisively, but also insidiously …
– The story we tell is important for me personally purely humanly, – said the actor of one of the main roles of the film Dmitry Linartovych. – I talked to many soldiers who have already been in the ATO, and I know what a “post-war syndrome” is – a very important and terrible time in their life, above all – psychologically. And our movie is about how soldiers who came from the war, learn to live again. “Autumn Memories” – is a human history, a breath of fresh air, which many people today lack.
