Art & Experience: “Six Centuries and Six Years” directed by Mojtaba Mirtahmasb has screened in the second night of Iranian movie festival in London.

According to Gameno news site, during the screening of the movie, Mirtahmasb mentioned Art & Experience cinema group creation and called it a new opportunity for Iranian cinema which is preformed by looking out to other countries, specially France. According to Mirtahmasb, the creation of Art & Experience cinema group is an opportunity for screening different movies,even though the government had to make space for screening different movies at the end of the day.

Six Centuries and Six Years which was screened last autumn in Art & Experience cinema group had received positive feedback from audiences and critics and it was a documentary movie about six years research of a music group leading by Mohammad Reza Darvish and Homayon Shajarian as the vocalist who tries to reconstruct Abd al-Qadir Maraghi’s music from traditional Iranian music.

This documentary movie has been screened in many inside and outside festivals and got some awards too which we can mention, Juries best documentary movie award of Fajr festival and awards for best documentary, best director, best research and best sound from the 16th Iranian cinema festival.
