Arian Vazirdaftari’s ‘Like a Good Kid’ to go to Albania
Art and Experience: Iran short film ‘Like a Good Kid’ has been scheduled to compete at Tirana International Film Festival in Albania.
Directed by Arian Vazirdaftari, the short film will be in competition with works from countries such as Denmark and Germany at the student section of the film event.
The 20-minute flick narrates the story of Sarah, a 22-year-old babysitter who looks after Matin, a five-year-old.
One day, Matin tells Sarah a story which makes her decide to steal from the house.
‘Like a Good Kid’ has so far attended several prestigious international film festivals including the Cinefondation section of 71st Cannes Film Festival.
Tirana International Film Festival is among the official Academy Awards qualifying festivals.
The festival accepts films of all lengths submitted online from around the world.
The 16th edition of the film event is slated for November 2-9, 2018 in the Albanian capital of Tirana.
