Iranian short film ‘Lunch Time’ will take part in the competition section of the 21st edition of Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival in America.

‘Lunch Time’, Directed by Alireza Ghasemi, is Iran’s only representative in the event.

The 15-minute film is about a high school girl who atttends a hospital to identify her mother’s dead body. The people in charge at the hospital would not let her into the morgue because of her young age.

Flickers Rhode Island International film Festival is among world’s 10 best short film festivals. It is held with the aim of providing artistic opportunities for independent filmmakers and to discover young talents among those filmmakers.

The festival is slated for August 8-13, 2017 in the state of Rhode Island, New England, US.
