
“A Poetess” Won Best Film Award at the California Women’s Film Festival
Art and Experience: The jury of the 9th California Women’s Film Festival awarded the best film award to “A Poetess.”
The festival, which runs from January 7th to 9th in Hollywood, California, is dedicated to the work of filmmakers whose story revolves around a female character or is one of the main elements of a female project.
The short film “A Poetess” written by Sahra Fathi and directed by Saeed Dashti and Sahra Fathi won the award for best foreign film at the festival.
Earlier, Sahra Fathi won the Best Actress Award at the Mumbai Short Film Festival for this film.
Amir Jafari, Sahra Fathi, Linda Kiani and Nima Shabannejad are the stars of this film.
This work was produced by Pacific United Productions Vancouver Canada and Diyar Company with the investment of Dr. Amir Houshang Hashemi and also Mehdi Kamalpour was the successor of this work.
